Are you a PhD researcher working on wind energy? Then this seminar is for YOU! Don't miss the opportunity to submit your abstract and/or register for the 18th edition of the European Academy of Wind Energy (EAWE) PhD Seminar. The submission & registration platform is now open!
For the 2022 edition, the seminar will travel to Bruges (Belgium), one of Europe’s most charming cities, where we invite you to the newly built Bruges Meeting & Convention Center (BMCC) from 2-4 November 2022.
As of now, the abstract submission platform is open and we welcome your submissions until the 16th of August.
This PhD Seminar is an excellent opportunity for PhD students, as well as their supervisors, to
exchange knowledge and experience on a wide range of wind energy related topics. As such, the seminar offers an in-depth view on early stage, as well as advanced research projects. A key aspect of the seminar is accessibility, therefore the seminar is free of charge, and all participants will get the opportunity to present their work, based on submitting an extended abstract or a short paper. The seminar will be well-balanced with a great selection of presentations, key-notes, a meet-the-industry event, a site visit, as well as plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow researchers while enjoying some of Belgium’s most renown specialties.
Please visit the seminar website for more information on the programme and venue, travel instructions and tips about Bruges, as well as some important dates.
In short, the key dates are:
Early bird abstract submission deadline: 16 July 2022
Closing abstract submission system: 16 August 2022
Closing registration: 30 September 2022
Icebreaker event: 1 November 2022
EAWE PhD seminar: 2-4 Nov. 2022
