ACADEMIC
NETWORK
We are the first, if not the single, academic project with all Belgian universities. So, if you have a question/idea but you don't know who or which research group to talk to, chances are high we can orientate within our network.
SECONDMENTS AT COMPANIES
To make sure there is maximum collaboration and knowledge exchange with our Belgian companies, we will support secondments from our 9 PhDs in the industry (most of them are already planned).
NEW GENERATION OF EXPERTS
We represent the new generation of offshore wind PhD researchers who will be at the forefront of joint industry-academic (research or innovation) projects, who can identify skills gaps and, after their PhD, can be an asset on the recruitment market.
SITE VISITS & KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE
We are keen on collaborating on site visits and on exploring how to bring our relevant network to your sites, assembly yards or companies, connecting the academic knowledge with your R&D departments.
INTERNATIONAL AMBITIONS
We have international ambitions to link our network with similar EU networks of wind PhDs, opening up the talent and expertise knowledge pool. We might even diversify toward the American and Asian networks, through our EAWE PhD Seminar involvement.

RESULTS
Last, but not least, we generate academic results, which can be relevant for your next innovation plans or new tech development. At the project end, we will have all of the knowledge from our papers, publications, events and PhD dissertations freely available.
